Our Story

Hi, I’m Zainab, the founder of Hook on Loop. I started crocheting in 2022 and came up with the idea of creating crochet flowers for gifting in Pakistan. At the time, crochet flowers weren’t really a thing here, so I decided to turn my hobby into something of my own. I started working from scratch, making everything myself and slowly introducing people to the idea of flowers that don’t wilt or need replacing. The response was much bigger than I expected, and as the orders grew, I realised I needed help. That’s when my husband, Sufiyan, joined me and became a part of the business.

Since then, Hook on Loop has grown from a one-person hobby into a team of 20+ people. We now create crochet flowers, bouquets, bags, accessories and other handmade gifts, all made with the same idea we started with — creating something people can give, keep and enjoy for a long time. We’re proud to have been the first in Pakistan to introduce crochet flowers as a gifting option, and even more proud that the business has become a source of income and financial independence for many women who work with us.

Today, Zainab and Sufiyan continue to run Hook on Loop together, with a team that helps bring every order to life. Every gift we make is meant for a different occasion and a different person, but they all have one thing in common — they’re made to make someone happy. And that’s what we’ve loved most about this journey: being a small part of people’s birthdays, celebrations, surprises and special moments.
